Lecture: “How we preserve heritage”

On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, we had the opportunity to listen to an interesting lecture on mosaic conservation. The lecturer was Maja Franković, a conservator-restorer with 18 years of experience in the development and implementation of projects in the field of cultural heritage preservation, interdisciplinary research, education and capacity building. As a conservator advisor, she is employed at the National Museum of Serbia. We learned how mosaics are preserved, whether they should be transferred to museums or not, and the lecture also showed a large number of mosaics found in the territory of Serbia.
