“Mathematician” on Corfu

Education of young mathematicians, Corfu

Rotary Club Belgrade Dedinje decided to send 3 students of the Mathematical High School to Corfu at the end of April 2018. This was a great opportunity for high school students to get to know the island of Corfu better and to get to know a famous part of Serbian history. Our high school students visited the Serbian house in Corfu, the island of Vido, Achilleon and Paleokastrits. The following traveled to Corfu: Jelena Ilić, Isidora Burmaz and Mihailo Aleksić. Jelena Ilić: “We returned from Corfu yesterday morning. It was very nice for us, we had a great time and rested. Everyone was very friendly, Verica was a great guide and the hotel services were excellent. We are very grateful to you for giving us this opportunity to travel.”

Journey of young mathematicians to Italy

Mathematical Gymnasium students in Verona

In cooperation with the travel agency Sabra, we provided a trip to northern Italy for 4 students of the mathematics high school from Belgrade (spring 2020). The trip was organized at the end of August, and we are very happy to give young people the opportunity to get to know various European civilizations. On the way were students: Maša Maksimović, Milica Damnjanović, Marko Grujčić and Đorđe Stefanović.
